別名：斑馬鯊、大尾虎鯊
英文名：zebra shark
體長：2.3～3.5公尺
豹紋鯊體態呈圓柱狀，口位於頭部下方，身體為黃色，身上帶著黑色斑點，斑馬鯊的英文是因為其幼年時為黑色，身上帶著白色條紋而得名
分布於印度洋及西太平洋沿岸，生性害羞，常常趴在海床上，以甲殼類或貝類為食，會用如同吸塵器般的嘴巴將貝類的肉吸出來食用
為卵生鯊魚，會產下約四個17公分長且帶著卵絲的附著卵，需要經過4～6個月才會孵化
豹紋鯊由於生性溫馴，時常被拿來當成水族館的觀賞魚
