Today’s viewing: #AltoKnights (Levinson, 2025) a decent gangster/mafia film that has some nice visual moments but the script is too cliche and having De Niro play Costello and Vito Genovese isn’t effective.

#AltoKnights - Frustrating watch. There's an A-tier crime history film in this, but the execution is a Temu Scorsese film from a director that could do better. DeNiro single-handedly kept me engaged though, with what I thought was a solid double performance. Soft B-.
