This is a driver-side view of of the 1957 Aurora, a one-off prototype by Juliana Custom Cars, Inc., Branford, CT USA. The gull-wing side windows and bulbous front winshield design were to be safety features for the cars of the future. The windshield shape was to minimize head injuries of front seat occupants in a collison. The fiberglass body paint is metalic gray. Exterior door pillars are trimmed in ribbed chrome (or possibly aluminum). Dashboard, interior pillars, and horizontal door cushions are trimmed in a mottled of gray and white horizontally streaked fabric. The futuristic wrap-around swivel bucket seats are stitched in padded vertical ribs of white vinyl that matches the padded interior side walls. Lane Motor Museum, Nashville, TN USA. # # #
