Local organization infighting exploded all over me today, because I have their archives. The person who contacted me was a real treat /sarcasm. Among other things, she claimed the material was outside our collecting policy (which, uh, includes our town, shockingly enough). #ArchivesLife

Work was gross today. I had a class of coughing/sneezing 8th graders. Circulation had me assess a bunch of falling-apart books for mending vs disposal, and I had to dig through very dusty oversize pics. The last came w bonus! slivers. #ArchivesLife

found some dead pests in a box of records and used tape to collect an example of the worst one (dermestid casing) to show our pest expert and she asked if it was ok for her to take the tape. i do not need it but thanks for asking lmao

Started the day with a text, while I was still in bed, saying the exhibit was here. No advance warning. Soooo 8 min later I was on campus. Then boss decided the loading bay wasn't going to work and rerouted to off-campus Facilities building. No idea when Facilities will deliver.. #ArchivesLife
