The boudoir is done, except for clearing out the wardrobe and the chest of drawers, which will involve decision-making and I'm too tired for that.
Tonight, I shall sleep in beeswax and lavender-scented loveliness.

Ugh. The boudoir at #SneezyTowers doesn't know what's hit it. I've dusted everything, taken it all apart, vacuumed, beeswaxed the wooden bits, demoulded the window frames, dusted the lightbulb and lampshade, wiped all the cables and the electricals and chucked out some junk.

Ugh. Have just spent 45 minutes ironing. Still not all done, but had enough. Tidied up the bathroom, bedroom and kitchen. Sore toe is sore again. #BadHousekeeping

Have spent all day so far tidying up, doing washing, putting clothes away, pottering, sorting things out, running vacuum cleaners etc. I really think I deserve to do something nice for a couple of hours, but bugger me if I haven't got to go to Sainsbury's. #BadHousekeeping
Left washing out overnight as nearly dry. During the night it blew over.
Then I forgot we were getting rain this morning.
Then there's the topsoil that's been sprinkle on the lawn.

Accidentally cleaned out my understairs cupboard. Knackered. #BadHousekeeping. In 5.5 years, I reckon it's only the third time I've done it.

Have a tradie coming round to give me an estimate for painting my bathroom so of course I've spent the morning cleaning the house from top to bottom cos he's local and I don't want him telling people I live in a shitpit. #BadHousekeeping
Accidentally did the ironing. Also changed the sheets, cleaned the coffee machine and egg cooker, folded and put away a pile of clean washing AAAAAND
reinstated the freshly laundered #catpest doughnut bed, which he is now testing for damage.

Three hours of tidying and cleaning. I'll spare you the details, mainly because my mind has blanked out the horror, but I did get to the bottom of the #IroningPileOfDoom AND clean the conservatory so now I deserve a Nice Lunch.

Tomorrow is the #IroningPileOfDoom, I fear. It's hard to plan ahead when the weather forecast changes by the minute. At the moment it's going to be wet tomorrow, just in case we thought spring was here. In #BadHousekeeping news, I did clear out the freezer today, and dropped a mixture of frozen veg.

Friday, and it's going to piss down all day.
Looks like a #BadHousekeeping day to me.
Have sorted the recycling. I was supposed to be cleaning the Major Kitchen Appliances (fridge, freezer and stove) today, which is why I'm doing stuff that doesn't really matter waaay ahead of schedule. #BadHousekeeping
Right. I've done #BadHousekeeping than strictly necessary for one day, I've had a Nice Lunch, I've fulminated about the behaviour of DPD, the weather is dreary, so I think I get to do #knitting and watch #Shetland.
Accidentally cleaned the bathroom and it's all sparkly now. Also put away a pile of clothes and hung some washing up to dry.
