Today we celebrate the Conversion of St. Paul, olim Saul. First #manuscript : Getty Museum, Ms. Ludwig IX 2, fol. 318v. This early-14th-c. breviary has the scene on the road to Damascus in an initial H. That horse looks REALLY annoyed. 🧵
