A photo of a coastal landscape with tidal flats in the foreground where a Great blue Heron looks for snacks. The heron is a tall bird, and is at the center bottom of the image, just at the edge of a small bank of mud flat where it meets the water. The bird is facing left mid stride. It's long body is leaning left on it's two long skinny legs. Atop it's long neck, are it's prominent white head with black accent from the back, and long pointed beak to the left. Several more strips of left to right mud flats and alternating waterways cross the lower half of the image, until reaching a grassy shore of dark to light tan colored grass, with a large clump of dense evergreen trees to the right. More grasses and trees alternate beyond for a bit before distant rocky cliffs rise abruptly in the far distance, topped by evergreen forest toward the top of the image, with a sliver of blue sky visible from center top to the left. The far cliffs and forest are part of Oregon's Cape Lookout, that juts out into the Pacific Ocean.
For today's #Scape I have a coastal view across tidal plains toward the cliffs of #CapeLookout on the #Oregon #coast.
In the foreground is a #GBH (Great Blue Heron) looking for snacks.
