The Cettis Warbler - pronounced with a 'ch' - is one of those birds often heard but rarely seen. It can sing so loudly and seemingly so close by, yet often impossible to see.
Occasionally you get lucky as I did when sat in the hide as it belted out it's song.

Cetti’s warbler bred at Landguard for the first time this year, putatively 3 pairs, though it’s unsurprisingly difficult to be sure. Not only are we having the local juvs disperse now, but we’re still getting birds from elsewhere, suggesting last years invasion isn’t over.
