Someone tell Bluesky to fix the issues with subtitle/closed captioning file compatibility. The timing in them can be completely correct and it will just ignore it from the start and put everything out of sync. Had this happen twice and it is definitely not a problem on my end. #ClosedCaptioning

Still image from a HuffPost clip with Kamala Harris discussion abortion bans, the baked-in on-video subtitles correctly say "make no exceptions for rape or incest", but the closed captions say "make no exception for *** or ***", censoring the key subject matter.

Closed Captioning glasses for use at a movie theater in the U.S.
For anyone who doesn’t know, this is what you wear if you need a Closed Captioning device at a U.S. movie. They’re bulky, they have a leash, I seriously doubt they were cleaned, and they were showing Marvels subtitles when I’m here to see The Holdovers, so had to be fixed. #ClosedCaptioning #FilmSky
