King Christian IV was DK's Sun King and this was his open-style crown, crafted in 1596, featuring gold, pearls, diamonds and other jewels. There is red velvet in the center. The gold gleams against a black velvet background.
Large yellow diamonds in a set with brooach, large necklace, parure and other pieces. Hundreds of carats, it seems. Circa 1860s.
A woman's ornate emerald and gold jewelry set with a necklace, matching earrings, and enormous brooch, all of which are part of the Danish Crown Jewels. Originally made for Queen Amalie circa the 1860s, and now worn by the current queen.
