Its maternity services were moved out in 1977, and the hospital finally closed in 1992. It was converted into residential housing in the early 2000s, but is now empty again due to structural issues.

The former Duke Street Hospital in the East End of Glasgow. Designed in the French Renaissance style by Alfred Hessel Tiltman, it opened as Poor Law Hospital in 1904 before joining the NHS in 1948.

A 1922 Victoria motorcylce in the Riverside Museum in Glasgow. Founded as the New Victoria Cycle Manufacturing Co of Scotland in Dennistoun in the 1890s, Victoria originally made bicycles which customers could watch being built.
