That, gentlemen, is Chicken Ruby out of the #Dishoom recipe book. Chicken thighs marinated overnight ready for grilling and brushing with melted butter. Makhani sauce made in advance, just needs cream adding when it's reheated later. And I'm doing ginger matchsticks for garnish. Have a sniff.

When I’m not taking pics of bugs and slugs - I sometimes have a penchant for cooking. This was my recent attempt at making the famous Black Daal from Dishoom - in total it took about 18 hours from initial prep to a finished dish - but soooooo worth it.
