Harbinger of Fall: The yellow and black legged spiders are back in our yard. Spinning of webs began three days prior to the Autumn Equinox. Their engineering skills are outstanding.

This cactus is cold tolerant down into 20 degree range. As it goes into dormancy; it's pads shrivel. At that point you can cut individual pads and plant in pots and move into your garage. Will post after I harvest some in December.
