Much nicer code and works well. Easy to change the radius, follows the player... and because of the full updates on movement, it still causes massive stuttering but it's an easy fix. I think I prefer this over drawing black tiles.

Here’s a video of an Analogue Pocket running the ROM that generates random variations of the cover art for my LSDJ EP, “Kardashev’s Brain”. It was coded by my close friend @zevanrosser.bsky.social in gbdk. It generates a bizarre brain blob as well as some alien-like glyphs. #gameboy #gbdk #chiptune
