#Día5 | Comparaciones – Experimental | #30DayChartChallenge. Experimenté agregando una sumatoria horizontal de observaciones en un boxplot sobre la capacidad endocraneana en especies del género Homo. Creada usando R con #ggplot2, #ggdist, #dplyr, #scales, #ggtext, #patchwork, #tibble y #tidyr.
#statstab #453 Gradient plots {ggdist}
Thoughts: Like these as an alternative to half eye plots.

#ggdist climbing the ranks!
Seconded! I did the same with some plots I made using ggdist recently—they came out so pretty ✨
don’t sleep on this 🗣️
#ggdist #ggplot2 #rstats
As part of an assignment at #ENSAI school of statistical engineering I gave for assignment a contribution to the #ggplot2 ecosystem. My students picked open issues from @davidgohel.bsky.social's #ggiraph, @schloerke.bsky.social's #ggally, @mjskay.com's #tidybayes and #ggdist, ...
I started playing around with all the #ggdist colour features (there are so many), and I think I'm losing the plot (pun intended!) 😵💫
Two ridgelines illustrating the average age per region (Eastern and Western Germany), each split into two timesteps (1991 and 2016). The outline of the curves was multiplied and slightly shifted, giving the impression similar to contour maps.
Not on purpose but I kinda like it...
Ridgeline plots with #ggdist for the taz lab 2024 tomorrow, using the wonderful @zeit.de article on East-West migration as a showcase example.
Made in #rstats with #ggplot2.
As always, thanks for the {ggdist} 📦 @mjskay.com 🙌
