Pferdeskulptur mit buntem Schmuck. Der Künstler John Chamberlain ist am 21. Dezember 2011 im Alter von 84 Jahren in New York verstorben. Die am Weltkulturerbe Rammelsberger im Ausstellungshaus Magazin präsentierte Skulptur Silver stellt das Pferd von Ritter Ramm dar, welches der Sage nach eine Erzstufe des Rammelsberges frei gescharrt haben soll und somit die Voraussetzungen dafür schuf, dass der Ritter das Erzlager des Rammelsberges entdecken konnte. The Romanesque church was built around 1200, and the Neuwerk Monastery itself was founded in 1186. In the foreground, a part of a spindle tree (or burning bush) extends into the image from the left, with its autumnal red leaves standing out vividly against the wall.
Originally, “Euonymus alatus” comes from East Asia, but it adapts well to the European climate. This one shines brightly next to the #Neuwerkkirche in #Goslar.
