The corvids were celebrating surviving the storm last evening, as I left the cottage, so I wound down the car window & watched.
The displays went on far into the gloaming & was late arriving at my destination.

Life has been a bit full on. I took myself out the other day to explore a part of the city I hadn’t t been to before. It felt very serene, a much welcomed respite. I slowed down, explored watched some Jackdaws exploring in perfect light…and then came word of the Waxwings!

Nu kijkt de rechter op en de linker naar de pinda's. Deze foto is geen spiegelbeeld van de vorige, maar de vogels maken het er wel bijna van. Now the right one is looking up and the left one is looking at the peanuts. This photo isn't a mirror image of the previous one, but the birds almost make it so.
Reflecties en regendruppels op het raam, dus ik dacht: ik maak er zwart-wit van. De #kauwtjes vonden het prima.
