Arugula's like, "Yeah, we like snow." Last week it was under 6" of snow, which was great insulation. This morning it was flat, frosted and frozen to the ground. A little later, we're ready for a salad.

Yellow dahlia in full bloom and a bud beside it. The centre part, or disc floret i believe, is yellow orange. The petals have pointed edges and are quite curly.

I’ve dug a trench.

Quite a few cubic metres of soil moved.

My body may take a while to recover, but I have my required hole in the ground. 🕳️

If I had any energy left, I’d do a rain dance just to get a day off tomorrow.

Nah, it’ll be alright, just a couple of paracetamol!
