I also didn't know that about silk until Kira discussed it (a little before #Marchistics, though; maybe during #Critterary in January?).
Okay, I just got caught up on your and @ricoreachthorne.bsky.social's #Marchistics posts!
Nemoria (from #TheDragonblood) has warp magic quite similar to your grav panels, that can be used to modify gravity or create portals. (1/3)
#Marchistics 30: Thank you @khonri.com for hosting this!
I learned a lot doing this. For #TheDragonblood, I realised I really need to figure out where the magic in magic items is stored and what materials are the best at storing it. (1/3)
#Marchistics
One thing I quickly realized, I had planned the city most of my series takes place in with hardly no industry at all. There were mines, but that's all π
They had things. It is the first city, so there was no importing anything when they were first founded.

First off, thanks for hosting #Marchistics Khonri!
I loved the sheer variety of products that were discussed by the various participants. And amused at two variations on bees and the corpse centered products π
I definitely appreciated the feedback I got early on concerning the energy conversion-
A monthly prompt list for Marchistics, hosted by khonri.com on bluesky, which is a month-long prompt game focused on micro-worldbuilding supply chains! #Marchistics -31- NICEF
This prompt set helped me confirm that I often don't engage the logistics in my stories. NICEF is one of the particular exceptions. It's a good reminder, and I'll keep it in mind for future stories, in case the absence is a weakness.

It was interesting to take something that was a mere sidenote in the narratives of my setting and expand on it in such detailed steps. Previously, lake-berries were just mentioned here and there, like characters fetching them during a swim in an enscharyan lake.

How to really deep dive hard and complex support systems for a fictional world. And that I had to "explain how to make a sandwich" a lot.
#Marchistics | 31
I didn't get time to partake as much as I'd have liked to, which tells me I still need to improve my system of interacting on social media around my day job. My next WIP is likely to be MUCH more suited to logistical analysis so can't wait for Marchistics 2027!! π
#Marchistics
I bowed out of this game pretty early cause I just didnβt have the worldbuilding in place to answer, but I have to say itβs been a blast watching everyone respond and have fun with these prompts.
Thank you Khonri for organizing and running this, it must have been so much work!
#Marchistics 31: this prompted so much useful, timely world building for @ricoreachthorne.bsky.social & I! Thanks @khonri.com not just for hosting but encouraging discovery and discussion, and with @kiraofthewind.com and @aldehydebackhand.bsky.social helping us determine our gene-modding tech! (1/5)
#Marchistics
The biggest thing I took away from this amazing prompt game is that lots of us have a real dislike for capitalism and authority. That makes me pretty happy.
Also the real logistics is the process of making new friends along the way
#Marchistics this was super fun, and honestly I learned that Accord is far worse than I initially intended them to be XD but when you start looking at the finer details it just gets worse, I do need to spend some time going over the QC process tho, ensuring things dont go boom is important
#Marchistics
Wow! This was another truely fun game! I loved seeing everyone else working out their supply chains, cultures, and worlds around their unique products!
I learned about silk, Dyson spheres, how they make saltpeter (really!?π±), and the cultures around several types of...

#Marchistics I was too distracted this month to do this complex topic justice π₯ but the money discussion made me realize that my 2nd-world fantasy, with 3-4 different governments colliding, needed much richer description of coinage than just the default gold/silver/copper!
Thanks Khonri for hosting this #Marchistics
Iβve loved going from βthey have swords with no iron in them, and a bunch of sparkly rock, idkβ to βhereβs a whole entire supply chain with connections to everything else going onβ.
Thank you sooooooo much @khonri.com for such a fun and fascinating game. I noodled and pondered on things I have never considered before while writing and this game expanded the worldbuilding expeditiously. You are a genius!

#RelicWorld
This was *hard* in the very good "there's worldbuilding to do!" way!
#Marchistics 31. Thank you, Khonri, for organising Marchistics and making us think about things many of us (myself included) never did before.
It's always good to find ways to improve the world-building, making the world feel richer and more "solid," and these questions definitely accomplish that!
#Marchistics
The neatest things I learned are the uses of slag.

I'll use my own to primarily take feedback and/or thoughts on how to improve it for next year.
Are there any concepts you'd like a dedicated prompt day to more than others that you stumbled upon while researching for your own?

31: I always love seeing how others incorporate more fantastical and or futuristic elements into things like supply chains, as I think itβs a great benefit/potential of spec-fic. Beyond that, it was also nice to walk through a lot of steps of reasoning for market disruption inβ¦
I had never worked through the minutiae of how a Disruptor came to be. They were just THERE.
Now I have a new way of looking at all of my tech and building deeper relationships between planets and species.
Huge thanks to @khonri.com for hosting!

I can't believe it is over already! π Thank you so much for running this @khonri.com it's been so much fun!
I can't pick just one! So, here are some highlights, in no particular order!
I've learned many new uses for corpses!
Star lifting!
Several awesome magic systems! π§΅
A daily prompt card for #Marchistics 2026, hosted by @khonri.com. Final Bits, Prompt 31. Have a free space to close out the month! Or, what's the neatest thing you got from doing this (read/learned)? Interpret each prompt as suits your needs! Yap! Or donβt! Develop a new supply chain or talk about one you already built. Make friends. The background features a blurred, purple toned aerial view over a four way highway interchange in a city. Around the roadways are numerous trees and occasional buildings.
Alrighty! This marks the end of #Marchistics 2026. Have your typical free space. π
But I'm also curious to know what the most interesting thing you might have learned either in doing your own research or from someone else's responses.
I'll have a humble request in a reply to this when I wake up.
#Marchistics Okay, I love and hate all of you for giving me such a massive project with no notice XD
I'll be breaking this down from the perspectives of NeuroGen Aerospace (Nicef manufacturer), Darkstar Manufacturing (Neuro's competitor), Pharmagen Technologies, and the NDB/Council. (1/18) π§΅

Well, I started doing some homework on my lunch break and left my notes at work π
Compared to everyone's world, from what I remember, Talitha Harbor is very small. They're planet isn't, but the population is. Setting up trade would be complicated. But not impossible.

#Marchistics 30: Love this prompt :) So many possible answers!
@greethewriter.bsky.social 's Cogitix would appeal to many factions and intelligences in my world (especially the big digital ones); but most of all I want the Orchana Commune and Europa to get together and share notes (1/12)
There have been a lot of efforts to "factory farm" Butcher's Bloom; they've failed. None more disastrously than the Lansrach Bloomblight. A parasitic fungus hit an industrial field, but because it leeched the magic rather than killing the plant, it wasn't detected.
And it spread.

#TheDragonblood / #ThroughTheCracks: Ooh, that's a fun question!
In general, the ALCEFS would like to help out however it can by offering everyone food, healthcare and the supplies they need for their products. (1/18)
