It was interesting to take something that was a mere sidenote in the narratives of my setting and expand on it in such detailed steps. Previously, lake-berries were just mentioned here and there, like characters fetching them during a swim in an enscharyan lake.

#Marchistics I was too distracted this month to do this complex topic justice 😥 but the money discussion made me realize that my 2nd-world fantasy, with 3-4 different governments colliding, needed much richer description of coinage than just the default gold/silver/copper!

Compared to everyone's world, from what I remember, Talitha Harbor is very small. They're planet isn't, but the population is. Setting up trade would be complicated. But not impossible.

There have been a lot of efforts to "factory farm" Butcher's Bloom; they've failed. None more disastrously than the Lansrach Bloomblight. A parasitic fungus hit an industrial field, but because it leeched the magic rather than killing the plant, it wasn't detected.
