Two days of #NatsuBasho are in the books. Fairly chalk. Last basho had that potential changing of the guard vibes. Natsu is the complete opposite. Good, solid #sumo but nothing super sexy.
Hoshoryu is, so far, fighting like a true Yokozuna. Onosato's elevation basically a fait accompli.

For the most part Day 1of Natsu Basho was chalk. YMMV on whether or not all the Ozeki shitting the bed is par for the course.
Someone please take Kirishima to a sports psychologist. He has not been the same since the second his Yokozuna run ended. He just looks listless. #Sumo #NatsuBasho.
