Another Dornier flying boat worth mentioning is the rather graceful Do 26. Designed for Lufthansa as a transatlantic mail carrier, the aircraft were requisitioned by the Luftwaffe. Of 6 built, 3 were lost during the Norwegian campaign in 1940 and another crashed later that year.

to find things tagged with #NavalHistory easily enough.

That said, I did a fair bit of manual adding to the feed (and manual removing), and had a bunch of hashtag combos, and there's no easy solution for that beyond using third-party feed software, at least afaik.

I don't quite understand, but should I just repost everything that has the hashtag #NavalHistory?

Keep on doing/reading/learning #NavalHistory, #MaritimeHistory, #CoastalHistory and #PirateHistory - or any other type of history. History is hugely important (and incredibly interesting) and if more people understood the past there is no question the present would be better off.

Yamamoto Isoroku's reputation has been somewhat sanitized over the years, and at times he's wrongly cast as a peace figure within the #IJN.

It's not unfair to say that he hesitantly sent the Navy to war, having largely been dragged there by the #IJA. He deserved a better end. #NavalHistory #PHG
