Today's #BlueSkyArtChallenge is #XtraXmas and #geese. Here are my entries. First, two #EgyptianGeese looking me over as I #photograph along the #ZambeziRiver in #Botswana. The second photo is the same pair of geese chasing a #NileCrocodile away. They showed absolutely no fear of the croc. #Africa
Branch perch, river patrol. Nile crocodiles sometimes haul out onto fallen trees to warm up and scan the water below. They also swallow small stones, which help with buoyancy control and grinding tough meals.
