Had Frankie for the weekend and we went to a local conservation area early this morning as it's been super hot 🔥. Not much in mushrooms except an amanita and bug eaten boletes. Hopefully this fall will make up for this crappy mushroom 🍄 season I'm having.

Every week when Frankie comes over for pup sitting his growth is amazing. Starting off the size of a Guinea pig at 8 weeks. I am happy to announce he is now the size of a large old dryads saddle.

Frankie is over for pup sitting today and I showed him the morels I found yesterday. LOL - he can smell but no touch. Maybe next season he can be my morel hunting dog? Need to start him young. Morels need to be cooked thoroughly as they can be poisonous raw.
