A landscape oriented image of the waterfront in Venice. There are two wooden jetties giving access to gondolas and any number of wooden stilts that line the waterways. Across the water, through the stilts, we can see San Giorgio Maggiore. In the foreground and the subject of the image, are two fellow travelers unknown to me but I couldn’t resist photographing them. They are a boy and girl, the boy is closer to me standing on the pavings with his back to me, the girl is looking towards him as she stands on one of the jetties. Each have there mobiles in hand raised and photographing each other. They have extremely happy smiles obviously having a lot of fun. When they noticed me after the event they laughed, which was nice as I’m always a bit self conscious doing street photography.
