Four antique buildings are pressed together along an empty street. The building fronts all share a line of tin-roofed canopies stretching over the concrete sidewalk. On the near left side elevation remnants of overlapping, painted advertisements can be seen. Two wires extend from the cornice of the buildings to points unseen on the right. The one in the rear supports a partially visible Christmas decoration.
