It isn't just us planning and putting together exhibitions of the folio:
#shrineshare in Penang was organised by Jamie Oon, one of the artists in the folio.
The PJ / Klang Valley show was mooted / hosted by KL art collectives Rogue Art and 293.
4/
Yet there has been six public showings of #shrineshare, in five places across the UK and Malaysia, each happening more or less organically: "Hey this seems fun and easy, let's put it up!"
Sharon's post presents photographs from all these events: smokesignals.sharonchin.com/shrineshare-...

We didn't plan any public exhibitions of #shrineshare when Sharon and @davidblandyrpgs.bsky.social and I conceived of and put together the folio---
But the point was always to make a folder of art that would travel easily, explain itself, and invite others to take it still further.

"We designed it as an excuse for people to hold impromptu exhibitions, gatherings or parties. Watching #shrineshare unfold like a trail of confetti across time and space has been a dream come true."
Our little exhibition-in-a-folder is travelling!

Home and recovering from our weekend of sharing #shrineshare with folks in the Klang Valley.
Tired, and filled. We had so many conversations: about homes and art, ancestors and hurts. We had so much help: with set-up, food, people building a fire.

A rubber-stamp of a shrine by artist Hardeep Pandhal
A rubber-stamp print of a shrine by artist Hardeep Pandhal, depicted a chain of humanoid creatures, connected by their mouths.
This shrine by UK artist Hardeep Pandhal, titled "Shrine of the Rhetorician", is choreography---about how we talk and chain conversations; about what conversations are, as lines of thought and relation. About how hard it is to concentrate to have conversations.

A stamp-print shrine by @daniellocke.bsky.social , about the power in earthly places; about surrendering your hopes and worries to the land; about trust.
For #shrineshare , an art folio and exhibition-in-a-folder about the things we hold sacred in times of crisis.
(Happy bday Daniel!)
It felt right to her, to leave her beach-combing hat. It felt right to leave it under the tree, near its shrine.
