Beyond Sever serving the Empire both domestically and across worlds, the nitty-gritty of the governments of #shuunkuu do not really play into much of the narrative. Even Sever's usurping of his own father in Book 3 is more of a personal matter than a political one.

While the Empire still maintains units, both personal and spacecraft, tailored to magic use, those conditioned for psionic use remain among the most formidable in their arsenal even to this day.

Since it is Valentines' Day (or Sweethearts' Day/Amegi᷈ẓ Kūð in #phori), I think it would be worth bringing up this thread I did back for Lexember regarding gift-giving in #shuunkuu.

(I should also note that much of 'Book 1' takes place in somewhat modern Japan rather than #shuunkuu, and the Reality War occurs in 'Book 2'. I have quite a bit of meta-narrative and timeline stuff hammered out, but still need to draft it out...)

So I found this a few days ago on the Inkarnate subreddit, and I have to wonder about the GSE... I guess Aurem is technically the capital while Verim would be a city. That said, I am lacking in defined towns/villages, which would probably be mostly in the Goldenrod Fields.
