On January 3rd a massive storm buried half of Denmark in a thick white layer of snow. My hometown was one of the places where the storm hit the hardest. There were snowdrifts, like the ones pictured here, up to 90 centimeters tall and they stopped all traffic completely. My parents driveway and neighborhood road was not navigable. Since the road is private, the municipality did not clear the road with their snowplowers. Therefore, everyone on the road had to dig a passage through the snow so cars could move trough it. It was rough, but we completed it with some teamwork!Clap Sweating a little... I was scared that I would not be able to move out because I had taken some time off work to do so, but me and my parents pushed trough and it all ended up working out in the end. ;) (Wink) The image was taken the day after the storm and shows the smaller snowdrifts, blocked in their path by a hedgerow. They look like tiny dunes!❄️
