a juvenile Little Ringed Plover facing left. A small wader with brown upperparts broken by a white collar. It has a dakr breast band and dark through the eye which has a yellow eye-ring. #Birds #Shorebirds
a Ruff facing left. On this one the head is largely white withe some brown flecks and the neck is white. The upperparts are brown with each feather having a pale fringe.
I've only just got round to processing the photos from that day so here are some more: one of 6 Little Stints, a Little Ringed Plover and a Ruff. All birds I don't see on my local patch very often.

A cracking few hours at Titchwell RSPB today. I used to visit several times a year c30yrs ago, this is probably only my 3rd or 4th visit in the last decade. Plenty of birds on the scrapes and shoreline, numerous Marsh Harriers patrolling, Bearded Tits pinging. Cleansed the soul. #titchwell #norfolk
