For #TombTuesday, the beautiful Amazonmachy sarcophagus fragment from Museo di Santa Giulia, Brescia, #Italy. Discovered in 1998, reused (face down) in the floor of the San Salvatore Church, it dates to the 2nd or 3rd century AD and is made from #Greek marble.

The Royal Mausoleum of Mauretania in Tipaza, #Algeria was built in 3 BCE by Juba II of Numidia and his wife #Cleopatra Selene II.
This tomb may have been the final resting place of Juba and his wife, although their remains have not been found.

The allée couverte of Kerbalannec in Beuzec-Cap-Sizun (Finistère) is 12m long and 2m wide. It has 5 capstones resting on 8 orthostats on each side and a terminal slab and is known as the “House of Korrigans”. Card by Giffard c.1910. #TombTuesday.
