Seattle Streets Alliance The Seattle Streets Alliance.

And of course, the work isn’t done! Even in downtown where the bike network is most complete there are still numerous problematic gaps. So I’ll put in a shameless plug to get involved with @streetsalliance.bsky.social’s #UnGapTheMap campaign streetsalliance.org/our-prioriti...

👀 Thank you @mayorofseattle.bsky.social for working to #UnGapTheMap! This is a two block gap in the downtown bike network where cars frequently park illegally in the bike lane. Half of all trips in Seattle are under 3 miles — let's make it safe and convenient for people to choose to 🚲 or 🛴

Argh, one more priority for @sngreenways.bsky.social's #UnGapTheMap campaign. 🤣

Seattle Neighborhood Greenways Seattle Neighborhood Greenways organizes and mobilizes people to make every neighborhood a great place to walk, bike and live.

We’re raising $15,000 during #GiveBIG to keep the momentum going for safer streets.

Right now, your gift will be doubled thanks to a $10,000 match from Washington Bike Law.

This win was big — but there’s so much more to do.

Let’s #UnGapTheMap together.

Make Pine and 4th Bike Lane Safer Two people biking were hit at 4th & Pine in one week. The bike lane's dangerous design puts lives at risk, and community members are demanding that the City act now to fix it.

Big thanks to SDOT and Interim Director Adiam Emery for acting quickly to install barriers at 4th & Pine after community action.

When we show up, change can happen.

Seattle cyclists protest ‘dangerous’ bike lane design, prompt SDOT action For frustrated cyclists, the intersection at Fourth and Pine in downtown Seattle has become a focal point for safety concerns.

After 2 bike crashes in 1 week, we teamed up with Central Seattle Greenways to form a people-protected bike lane at 4th & Pine to raise awareness.

Just hours later, SDOT responded with concrete barriers.

This is what community power looks like. 💪
