Severe storms capable of damaging winds and a tornado risk are expected across parts of the Lower Great Lakes and middle/upper Ohio River Valley, mainly this afternoon through early evening. Severe thunderstorms are expected along and ahead of the cold front, where very large hail, damaging winds and a few tornadoes are possible from the mid-Mississippi and Ohio Valleys to southern Plains.
