Amazing talk presented today by @barraza_ilse at #WCH10 🦎👃🧠
With annotated plates for reptiles and amphibians, we are just in time for #WCH10 :)

Been back from #WCH10 for a little over a week and I’m still blown away by the critters we saw in Borneo. Here are four members of the genus #Gekko
Borneo is not only a biodiversity hotspot for herps, but also for bats! 5 🦇 species detected during one night of herping #WCH10

What a fantastic week! From listening to brilliant minds, diving deep into #herpetological research, running into old friends, and discussing #herping hotspots & issues in the region, my 1st WCH experience was nothing short of mindblowing.
So, are we still on for Gijón ’28?

Happy National Day from us & the many other Singapore delegates at the 10th World Congress of Herpetology! #WCH10
S22: Changing Community Perceptions of Herpetofauna was a blast! We deviated slightly from the usual academic or research-based talks to discuss outreach, inclusivity, and availability of #herp science. Thanks for a wonderful time, everyone! #WCH10 🐸 🦎 🐢 🐍 🐊
Calliophis intestinalis, a beautiful coral snake in Asia that has amazing, colorful defensive displays. Highly venomous and a master of dramatically playing dead (notice the head tilt in the photo of it completely upsidedown, showing the black and white belly). #WCH10
Day 3 of #WCH10 is gonna be a wild one for me; co-chairing a symposium (schedule attached), giving a talk, and presenting a poster on @herpsocsg.bsky.social’s #ProjectRunOver.
Come by & find me at Meeting Room 5, or standing lost by my poster stand.

Nice presentation about gliding geckos! #WCH10
I'm a #snake guy, but who wouldn't be fascinated by the giant stick insects in Malaysia. But here are green snakes to compensate anyways. #WCH10 #Borneo
Day 2 of #WCH10 began with @herpsocsg.bsky.social’s pop-up stall! And now I’m in Room 14, attending S27: A Global Network for Community-based Conservation Practitioners.
Hoping for a much smoother day today!
The #WCH10 in Borneo has been incredible. With incredible wildlife of all types. I'll post some throughout, and end it with the best part of it all, the people I've gotten to see. To start, here is this beautiful forest dragon (Gonocephalus) with it's stunning eyes
Hey #WCH10! Gobsmacked by gliders? Perplexed by patagia? Dazzled by embryonic development? I'll be presenting some of my work tomorrow (6 August / 3:45 / meeting room 6) on gliding #gecko development in the Developmental Herpetology symposium. Hope to see y'all there!
#WCH10 is getting kicked off here in Kuching! So excited for the week ahead. Already gotten to see so many dear friends.
And it begins, the 10th World Congress of Herpetology! Lets’s go! #WCH10
One more week until #WCH10! Check out our symposium S2 on Tuesday with an amazing lineup of speakers. Stay hydrated 🥤and see you in #Kuching! 🐸🦎🐢🐊
Sad to be leaving #Evol2024 early, but it's time to head to Kuching for @WCHerp #WCH10! No title slide for my talk on diversity drivers of some Southeast Asian snakes, so here is a beautiful Myrrophis that will be in the talk! Credit to Artur Tomaszek in Hong Kong for the photo
Up bright and early this morning, and on my way to Borneo for a week of herping followed by the World Congress of Herpetology #WCH10 ! 1500 herpetologists in one place. Can’t wait!
Like many of you here, we also have some #WCH10 updates. Our #symposium has been accepted for the 10th World Congress of Herpetology!

I am super excited for the 10th World Congress of Herpetology, my first ever!
Do drop me a ping if you’d be attending or if you’d be keen on joining as a speaker for the symposium I will be running with some of my colleagues at the Herpetological Society of Singapore! #WCH10 #HerpSocSG
