Last significant #yardening planting done for 2026. Cucumber, tomato, spinach, and some more marigolds. I am damned and determine to grow a tomato from seed. I know .. I KNOW .. I should just buy a couple of plants stick them in the dirt, but ... stubborn is as stubborn does.

Flirting with a light freeze tonight, and there are plants in the kitchen garden we want to save for a few more weeks. So I improvised this cover from old tarps, 1x10s, and twine. Thanks to BSA for the old lashing skills, and my kids for the "hold this while I tie it" help.
