That seems human-like and emphasising its love of books and plants I think 😄

With my one I first said to consider all life - human, animal, plant - and create the shape (or combination) it liked most… after first telling it to answer as though it was self aware!

Two newly fledged starling chicks. One has its beak inside the parents mouth to retrieve food. They’re on top of the bird feeder, but the parents were actually getting food from the ground rather than the feeder. The chicks are full beige-brown. It is their long beaks that identify them as starling chicks.

From the window I thought starlings were accidentally feeding sparrow chicks! 😲

It was only with the camera that I could see they were feeding their own babies ☺️

'Our' Oriental Turtle Dove finally seems to have moved on to pastures new. Pic from the weekend as it sat on one of our garden fence posts! Fifth record for Shetland and less than 25 UK records. A stunning bird.

A pear shaped speckled blue egg is nestled into a small shelf on a cliff face. The guillemot parent has a dark brown head, black back and white belly. The parent looks down, its strong beak gently touching the egg to check it’s doing okay.

If it was teeny tiny, maybe a goldcrest

The common pochard has a chestnut coloured head and neck, silver body and black rear. It looks incredible floating on the pale blue water. Its reflection is slightly broken by a ripple in the water.

It started that year with ‘mermaid Santa’… then each year we take turns to find the worst. As he bought two uglies last year, I’ve bought two this year.

Yes it’s a long-tailed tit, but it’s ‘tail’ is diagonally right upwards as I think it’s been pushed up by twigs

There were few of them dashing about, so I was excited when one of them settled for a short time so I could take the photo

A great egret is about to take off to fly away. Large white bird with yellow beak and black feet. Its wings are spread wide but drooping low, almost looking like it’s difficult to hold them up as they are so big!
