An elderly couple use a zebra crossing to negotiate a busy road in a small English town, moving from the sunny side of the street towards the shadows, where several shops await. Will they head for the fish and chip takeaway or the kebab one. Possibly neither, for there is a charity shop there, too. All these are housed in an imposing, three storey brick building. On the road a large white van waits for the couple to cross. To the right a large imposing iron stand is topped by a lantern.
