at last, i figured out how to deploy this thing on k8s. it's definitely easier today than last time i tried a month ago. architecture has been simplified, as #AtmosphereConf foretold

Yeah the ATGeo working group kinda stalled under my highly theoretical leadership… it was only the prospective embarrassment of showing up at #AtmosphereConf empty handed that got me off my ass to ship something. Social pressure FTW 😂

After being gone for a few days while #AtmosphereConf was happening, I’m feeling super overwhelmed with catching up (here and elsewhere). Hopping into my @obsidian.md vault and just writing feels like being thrown a life preserver.

This is fucking wild. And I’m so glad and excited or the work @mmccue.bsky.social and team at surf are doing (though why he’s still on a Bsky PDS I’ll never know 😉). It was amazing to meet @marcimccue.bsky.social at #Atmosphereconf and have a really great conversation with her about Charcoal!

#AtmosphereConf was a week-long intravenous injection of hope, really one of the best events I can remember. I finished unpacking my suitcase today, but the list of new leads & learnings to unpack is so going to take weeks. Feeling energized, inspired and grateful to be building in this ecosystem 😇

the rapid tests have a very real false-negative rate, and testing positive has always happened some time *after* symptoms for me

I was pretty bummed about feeling like I didn't have enough time, but seeing the write up makes me feel like I did get a lot of information through.

I'm honored to have been able to present at the conference, it was a great experience!
