Except for the green boots, all these shoes are not in my possession anymore, and the watercolor gives them a nostalgic feel. It’s almost as if they tell of previous lives and adventures. The image is freezing them in time, as they were already showing some wear and tear, and the lengthy format of the accordion book functions as a form of narration, as if it’s a kind of a procession or a sad fashion show.
