It seems completely cock-eyed that an #ActiveTravel scheme can be watered down or cancelled because of its effect on traffic flow.

Don’t forget that keeping people active for longer also keeps them independent, and reduces social care needs; people who use #ActiveTravel to get to work have fewer sick days than those who don’t.
