A dip into the “All About That Place” archive for the #AATP25 Day 3 theme of Military & War. In his 2023 talk The Second World War and One Place Studies, Simon Fowler argued that #OnePlaceStudies and those researching them have an important role in studying the impact of #WW2 on local communities.
Military & War is the theme for #AATP25 Day 3. To tie in with that we have just added a new video to our YouTube channel from our Chair, @springhillops.bsky.social Janet Barrie: Conscientious Objection in WW1. This focuses on Janet's #OnePlaceStudy of Springhill, Higher Cloughfold, in #Lancashire.
