#Aractober 23 is the wine cellar spider, the smaller, posher, version of the common cellar spider. Psilochorus simoni. Silent P or S? @britishspiders.bsky.social Does the name refer to bare headed spiders that group together? I assume they don't have a tendency to sing opera ๐Ÿ˜Š

A macro photo of a green bodied spider on light blue painted wood. The spider's legs are slender and translucent, covered in many spine-like hairs and also have small black spots. The spider's cephalothorax, the front part of its body is oval, bright translucent green and features brown spots along the side and small brown hairs along the top of its head around the eyes. The abdomen is slenderly ovoid, and darker green, almost pickle-like.

A photo of a light brown spider, with banded legs, and two dark splodges on its abdomen, looking off to the bottom left of the frame. It's resting on a green leaf that is mottled with brown and white blotches.

ID help needed for #Aractober today. Think this Harvestman is Sabacon? Found under some wood in a darkly wooded area. @megabunus.bsky.social Again with my glasses! Should have been better photos so understandable if ID is difficult.

Shaken from bamboo today it's Tetragnatha, Long jawed orbweb spider. The sternum patterns can help divide them into two groups. T.extensa/pinicola have a yellow triangle, the others plain brown. #Aractober This one showing the classic pose

Lots of money spiders, linyphiidae, today. All the males were ballooning. Females seemed to be staying put. In one pic you can just see a toothed carapace. Also included someone having a spider lunch. Didn't keep any for ID but did find something new for me. Will check it for tomorrows #Aractober

A photo of a leggy green and orange spider from above front resting on very pale blue siding. The spider has very slender and proportionately long translucent green legs which are covered in fine spine-like hairs. it has slender rusty orange pedipalps and behind them are outsized curved orange chelicerae. It's large main eyes are translucent and smaller eyes are clustered above and behind them next to a patch of bright orange scales. it's brownish green abdomen is just out of focus behind it.
