There's this little katydid photographed in #AsiaNatureChallenge that looks exactly like an ant. It's ridiculous.
A moth with varying shades of brown and thin white markings. It raises the tip of its abdomen which ends with a pom-pom-like organ, used to emit pheromones.
This is why citizen science projects are important - With >2000 moths in Hong Kong, a few hundred more unidentified and more to be found, this moth of the genus Acidon is new arrival from 2023. She is the second record and is collected for further research. #AsiaNatureChallenge #bugsky #inverts

A golden crambid moth. Black stripes on the edge of its wings are marked by a white border, while there is a brown pattern near its body.

I watched an osprey.It was looking for food. Crows seemed to dislike the osprey flying. Crows came to chase the osprey away.

A huntsman spider with long hairs on a green fence. It has a mottled grey colouration with hints of greenish yellow, making the spider resemble lichen and moss. Between its chelicerae is an orange ant.
