random bike frame--is it worth it???

#bikempls -- I need some guidance. insurance just paid out after my garage was broken into. I have ~$500 to buy a new bike or build on this frame that the thieves left. For context I don't ride much/as far as I used to but it's important I have something to swoop around in!
