A sweeping view down the nave of a grand Gothic cathedral, shot from the west end looking east toward the high altar. The vaulted stone ceiling soars overhead, its pointed arches receding in perfect symmetry toward a distant stained glass window that glows with colour at the far end. A large ornate brass chandelier hangs prominently in the foreground. Rows of wooden pews line either side of the central aisle, and a few visitors can be seen in the distance. In the immediate foreground, a wooden lectern holds an open Bible, flanked by candles on a white-clothed altar table. The walls are built from pale limestone ashlar, with carved column capitals and memorial plaques visible on the right side. Dappled shadow patterns play across the stone floor beneath.

It only became a cathedral in 1905 and is often overlooked in the city of St Paul's and Westminster Abbey, but it dates from 1220 (though reconstructed in the late 19th century).
