Gros plan sur une gallinule poule d’eau (oiseau au plumage gris-brun foncé et au bec rouge terminé par une pointe jaune) penchée vers l’avant pour picorer la végétation au bord d’un étang. Sur sa gauche, son bébé au plumage gris foncé duveteux, bec rouge avec une pointe jaune, son front est chauve et laisse apparaître la peau rouge en dessous. Il regarde sa maman avec de grands yeux curieux. Il est très très mignon.
Le poussin décrit dans la photo précédente est perché sur une petite racine dépassant de l’eau. Il se penche vers sa mère, petits bouts d’ailes dressés en signe d’excitation, tandis qu’elle avance la tête vers lui pour le nourrir. En dessous d’eux, le rivage de l’étang couvert de lentilles d’eau d’un beau vert clair.
Même scène que la photo précédente, la mère s’est rapprochée et dépose la nourriture (probablement une algue) dans le bec ouvert du poussin.

They must be just a few days old, covered in fluffy black down, from which protrude disproportionately large legs for their size; also their red beaks and almost bald heads with bulging eyes. These chicks are funny and grotesque, but, at the same time, tender and cute. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗰𝗶𝗼́𝗻 (𝗘𝘀𝗽): Vemos cuatro polluelos de Gallineta Común caminando torpemente por una superficie muy inclinada. Deben tener pocos días, están cubiertos de un plumón negro muy esponjoso del que sobresalen unas patas desproporcionadamente grandes para su tamaño; también sus piquitos rojos y unas cabecitas casi calvas con ojos muy saltones. Estos polluelos son divertidos y grotescos, pero, al mismo tiempo, lindos y adorables.
