I counted about 40 of these coming on my balcony fig tree today. Shall see how many will actually develop. And its amazing how quickly they are growing โ they were still tiny a week ago after the cold spell here. #eatwhatyougrow

Just a friendly reminder that even if your veggies come out of your own garden, wash them thoroughly.
Third washing and I still have the ones I picked this morning
Ah yes, tired but love it ๐

The tomatoes are coming in thick and fast now, but the cucumbers are starting to catch up. The ghosty-looking ones are Silver Slicers; the other is a Beit Alpha. (On the other hand, the pole beans are just getting started.) ๐ฑ

This is our first year growing Bunea Mulata (Capsicum anuum) and they are already living up to their reputation as heavy producer.
I started these plants from seeds in the winter and used a grow tent to give them a head start.

Growing up, we had a couple of big rhubarb in our sandy Central Oregon soil - and my mom made great crisps!
I've had several starts of Crambe since first seeing them 50 years ago.
The valley clay soil can be a challenge for Crambe
