I actually went and enjoyed it The British pavilion was fun. I think they had buskers outside. Russia and the US dramatic buildings but not much inside.
My favourite was the Czech pavilion with its beautiful glass. The Scandinavian pavilion had wonderful designs, chaste and elegant #Expo67

What’s left of Montreal’s Expo 67? A look at the remnants of a world’s fair | CBC News Expo 67 in Montreal is considered to be one of the most successful world's fairs ever to be held. It catapulted Montreal onto the world stage and led to the development of major infrastructure project...

I visited #Montreal in 2017 (on a whim) because of all the #Expo67 50th anniversary events taking place. I visited the Biosphere and other structures that are still up, including all the participating museums. I started feeling the spirt, and ghosts, of that time. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

#Expo2025 opens in Osaka 🇯🇵I hope the spirit of Universal world expositions survives this spring and some North Americans can afford to attend. In 1964, the #NewYorkWorldsFair 🇺🇲motto was " Peace Through Understanding". #Expo67 in Montreal 🇨🇦 was themed "Man and his World". All sounds quaint now.
