The out-of-focus background reveals golden, brown, and green hues typical of a deciduous forest in full autumn. Although they look very similar at first glance, 𝑷𝒊𝒄𝒖𝒔 𝒔𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒑𝒆𝒊 is a native and endemic species of the Iberian Peninsula, different from 𝑷𝒊𝒄𝒖𝒔 𝒗𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒊𝒔 which occurs in the rest of Europe. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗰𝗶𝗼́𝗻 (𝗘𝘀𝗽): Un pito real ibérico macho aferrado al estrecho tronco de un árbol golpea con su fuerte pico intentando perforar la madera para obtener alimento. El fondo desenfocado revela tonos dorados, marrones y verdes propios de un bosque caducifolio en pleno otoño.
