A macro shot of some Earleaf Greenbriar (Smilax auriculata) growing on a sandy dune. The thorny vine the berries and leaves sprout from is in the right of the frame. The lobed leaves have clearly defined veins and the berries appear dehydrated. The picture is shot in a lilac monochrome leaving the whole image with a lovely purple hue.
A macro shot of some Holly berries with the background severely out of focus leading the eye to focus on the sharp berries. The usual red that holly spouts is instead replaced by a light lilac hue as the image is shot in monochrome.
A macro shot of a succulent growing from the sandy dunes. The leaves are covered in thin white strands of what looks like spider webs giving a nice contrast to the dark leaves. The image is shot in lilac monochrome giving a warm hue to the scene.
