A photo of the face of the Giant Leopard Moth. The moth's body is white and covered with large dots that from a distance appear black, but up-close as in this photo are revealed to be darkly iridescent blue. These blue markings extend to bands on the legs, and markings on the face. The moth's eyes are a coppery orange color.

A photo of the green Bad Wing Moth, a pretty moth in the family Geometridae. The moth is a pale green color with 2 distinct narrow white bands extending across both wings and a very pale white line on the rear area of the fore wing. The moth's fore wings are markedly larger than the rear wings, and this moth's name was given due to their size making it difficult to mount the moth with wings spread in collections.

A photo of the dorsal surface of a Mountain Dew-Green jumping spider. The spider has slender legs covered in very fine spine-like hairs. It's slender abdomen is covered in fine golden hairs and features 8 small dots in two rows of black. The spider's head is covered in bright orange and white hair-like scales and is covered in eyes giving the spider 360 degree vision.

It's not every night that I get both larval and adult forms of an insect to photograph. This is the Giant Leopard #Moth, #Hypercompe scribonia, both the spectacular adult, and a chonky #caterpillar (nearly 3 inches (7.6cm) long! )
